What is a MIHP?

The Maternal and Infant health program (MIHP) is a non-medical, preventive health service. The goal of the MIHP program is to alleviate social and psychosocial problems, health education deficits, needs for medical appointments, and to aim for the delivery of a healthy baby at full term.

Who is eligible?
  • Residents of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County
  • Medicaid Insurance
  • Pregnant
  • Infant (under 15 months)
